Javea

Situated at the base of the Móntgo Natural Park and offering 25km of coastline, lies the town of Jávea. It has a history stretching back to pre-historic times, elements of which can still be found in Móntgo's caves. Jávea is also a town with a foot firmly in the present and offers all the modern facilities one would expect in a thriving tourist town. However it still retains a general harmony with its natural surroundings, as it is a well-structured town with apartment blocks of limited height.

The beachfront promenade is the nerve centre of the tourist area and summer nights are always bustling and lively due to its many bars and restaurants.
