Alfaz del Pi
Alfàz del Pi is a town set approximately 2km inland but with an adjoining coastal area know as the ‘Rincon deL'Albir'. It is a well planned town with wide avenues and low buildings due to enforced height restrictions and has only one high rise block (erected prior to the height restrictions). Primarily still a residential area; it lies in complete contrast to the bustle of Benidorm, its neighbouring coastal town.
The area is however waking up to tourism; attracted by its beautiful pebble beach and diverse leisure activities, including its very own annual film festival!
Approximately half of its 15,000 inhabitants come from countries other than Spain, with over 60 different nationalities represented here.
